For several years now, the association has also been organising guided tours on weekends and public holidays and every day in summer.
Young people from the region are trained to welcome visitors: they take turns in teams of two and learn a great deal from their encounters…
This small job during their holidays allows them to become aware of the heritage of their region, to get involved in a positive activity and to learn how to deal with human contacts (an experience that will always be useful whatever they do in the future).
During the year:
guided tours by appointment.
Appointment : Contact.
– person : 3,50€

Illustrated booklets
To enable foreigners to enjoy a complete and independent tour, illustrated booklets containing all the historical information (following a signposted circuit) have been published in French, Dutch, English and German. Guided tours in 4 languages are also available thanks to audiophones rented on site.
The sale of guided tour books, postcards or candles, the rental of audiophones or …the generosity of some people, touched by the work of the volunteers or simply grateful to have had access to the building and to have been able to benefit from the explanations of a guide, makes it possible to finance the purchase of the tools and materials necessary for the restorations or improvements that we are undertaking to welcome visitors in the best conditions.
